在我們主辦海外藝術家駐留計劃中，同學可以和本地南非藝術家進行陶藝課程，探訪本地藝術家和全非洲最大的藝術館。透過南非生態遊、參觀歷史遺產－世界最早的植物園等認識非洲生態，更可以與策展人參加策展工作坊，最後在南非的國家記念建築－Rust-en-Vrede Gallery中舉辦展覽，展示駐留計劃中所學到的知識。

In our overseas artists-in-residence programme, students can take pottery classes with local South African artists, visit local artists and the largest art gallery in Africa. They will also learn about African ecology through eco-tours, visits to the world's oldest botanical gardens, and join curatorial workshops with curators, exhibit their art work in the Rust-en-Vrede Gallery, South Africa's national monument, which will showcase what they have learned on the programme.

由大地母系主辦的南非藝術家駐留計劃，讓香港參加者可以到南非開普敦Cape Town進行兩至三個星期的陶藝創作體驗！參加者不但可以拜訪當地藝術家工作室，更可交流藝術心得，然後進行創作，優秀作品更可以於南非陶藝博物館Rust-en-Vrede Gallery展出成品！

South African artist-in-residence is a ceramic programme organized by ComMAground, allowing Hong Kong participants to have a two to three weeks pottery creation experience in Cape Town, South Africa! The participants will not only visit the local artists' studio, but also exchange arts ideas and to create. Moreover, excellent works will be exhibit in the clay museum of Rust-en-Vrede Gallery in South Africa!

African Culture Exchange Sharing

本次分享會邀請了在港非洲人和香港人在非洲的經歷和感受，以及他們想在香港推廣非洲文化的原因。

Makha Diop 先生，他來自西非歷史悠久的 Goree 小島，已在香港定居超過 23 年，致力在香港推廣非洲表演藝術，主要為非洲鼓和舞蹈。除了分享他在香港多年的經歷和觀察外，還會分享他家鄉獨特的藝術，包括音樂和舞蹈，並分享推廣非洲藝術的經驗和心得，所遇到的困難和香港非相似之處，以及如何克服這些困難。
此外非洲鼓表演環節將由Makha Diop 先生帶領大家一起體驗非洲鼓的節奏和魅力。非洲的鼓樂是非洲文化的重要組成部分，傳承了豐富的傳統和獨特風格。

大地母系共同創辦人Cassia Leung會分享她上年隻身一人到南非三個月的經歷和感受，以及她想在香港推廣非洲文化的原因。

Rust-en-Vrede Gallery

合作機構Rust-en-Vrede gallery最初建於1840年代,作爲監獄和警察總部，1984年被宣佈爲國家紀念建築。該建築羣現在改為畫廊，陶藝博物館，各種藝術工作室。

Rust-en-Vrede was originally built in the 1840’s as a prison and police headquarters. In 1984 it was declared a National Monument.The complex now houses a Gallery, Clay Museum, and various Art Studios.

There are two gallery spaces and a clay museum. Displaying antique and also contemporary ceramics.
